Job summary

The Y NSW is seeking an experienced or advanced Educator to step into a leadership role within our Out of School Hours Care service at Wamberal. You will coach educators, drive program quality, and deliver enriching experiences for children, in collaboration with the leadership team.

This role offers a clear path to Coordinator/Director, with opportunities to influence practice across programs and scale quality outcomes through hands-on mentoring and curriculum leadership.

Qualifications

• Certificate III (minimum) or Diploma in Children's Services (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid, CPR & Child Protection Certification.
• OSHC / childcare experience.

The Y Wamberal OSHC offers a relaxed yet enriching Out of School Hours Care experience within a coastal community setting. Catering for Before School, After School and Vacation Care, the Centre provides children with a safe and engaging place to learn, play and connect.

Are you an experienced educator ready to step up and drive meaningful impact across programs, teams, and outcomes? We're looking for a passionate Educator to champion quality practice, mentor educators, and lift program excellence across our OSHC service.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with the leadership team to:

• Lead curriculum development on site

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as an Experienced Educator (Cert III + 4+ years) or Diploma-qualified Advanced Educator
• Strong understanding of child development and program planning
• Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and support educators
• Experience leading or influencing program quality and continuous improvement

Essential Requirements
