efex, via its onPlatinum team on the Gold Coast, is seeking a Technical Account Manager to manage an established client portfolio with emphasis on the education sector. You will nurture relationships, translate technology into business outcomes, and coordinate with service delivery to ensure exceptional client experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, customer success, technical account management or a similar client-facing role.
• Previous experience within an MSP, IT services or technology environment.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into straightforward, business-friendly language.

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture an established portfolio of clients, with a strong focus on the education sector
• Build trusted, long-term relationships and become a key point of contact for your clients
• Develop a strong understanding of each client's business, IT environment, challenges and future priorities
• Translate technology requirements and solutions into clear, practical business outcomes
• Conduct regular client meetings and reviews, helping shape and progress their broader IT strategy
• Work closely with technical and service delivery teams to ensure a seamless client experience
• Manage client escalations, keeping clients informed and coordinating issues through to resolution
• Identify opportunities to improve client environments or introduce additional services where they add genuine value
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of clients alongside internal teams
