Job summary

St Therese's School Bentley Park is seeking a School Learning Officer to maximise educational outcomes by supporting Teachers in delivering learning programs, including small group and 1:1 support. Key duties include evaluating student needs, assisting with lesson plans, supervising time-out, and reporting progress.

Applicants must hold a Working with Children Blue Card and align with Catholic Education ethos.

Qualifications

• Assist with evaluating and assessing the learning needs of students under classroom teacher supervision.
• Provide support to students with social/emotional needs.
• Assist with in-class support programmes as directed by the classroom teacher.

Responsibilities

• Maximise educational outcomes by supporting Teachers in delivering learning programs in small groups or 1:1.
• Assist with planning days and liaising with teachers on student needs.
• Report regularly to the classroom teacher on student progress.
