Job summary

St Patrick’s Parish School - Albury is seeking a Learning Support Officer to work with teachers to support student learning, wellbeing and inclusion. You will assist with learning programs, classroom activities and individual support plans to help students access learning opportunities.

The role requires commitment to Catholic identity, safeguarding, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary school team. Includes training and development opportunities and term-time adjustments.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support students with diverse learning, behavioural and personal care needs.
• Assist with learning programs, adjustments and individual support plans.
• Provide individual and small-group assistance in classroom settings.
• Support independence, confidence and positive learning behaviours.
• Help with supervision in classroom, playground and excursions.
• Prepare and adapt learning resources as directed by staff.
• Record progress and give feedback to teachers.
• Support positive behaviour and wellbeing strategies.
• Maintain confidential student records when required.
• Participate in professional learning and school meetings.
