Job summary

De La Salle College Malvern is seeking Learning Support Officers to join the Learning Diversity Team in Term 1, 2027. Positions include full-time and part-time roles across the college, supporting teachers and students with learning needs throughout the school day.

Remuneration is based on the Education Support Officer – Category B scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA). Applicants must meet safety and visa requirements and hold Working With Children and National

Qualifications

Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education.
Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Enthusiasm for implementing differentiated curriculum and using technology to support learning.
Experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Work with subject teachers to support student learning.
Attend to the care of students, supporting organisation and access to curriculum.
Provide 1:1 instructional support in the classroom.
Support for a student’s academic learning, behaviour program, or social progress during the day.
Identify student needs and progress, informing the Educational Support Teacher.
Collaborate with Education Support staff and teaching staff to maintain a comprehensive support program.
