Job summary

Arabanoo Before and After School Care is seeking an Education Leader and Inclusion Support Coordinator to drive MTOP implementation, lead educational programming, and provide senior staff leadership across the NSW centre. The role will balance floor-time with staff coaching and strong liaison with schools to support children's wellbeing.

Education Leader and Inclusion Support Coordinator

Arabanoo Before and After School Care – Balgowlah Heights NSW

The Educational and Senior People Leader is responsible for educational leadership and programming, including implementation of My Time, Our Place (MTOP), pedagogical leadership, and high level support for children and inclusion. The role also provides senior people leadership, directly managing Educators and coordinating with the People and Support Coordinator on broader staffing matters. The role maintains a regular presence on the floor, prioritising afternoons with children and liaising with school teachers regarding children's wellbeing.

Although advertised as full-time, the role is flexible and would suit 30 - 38 hours per week.

• Maintain and update physical environments in both centres
• Programming meetings and critical reflection
• Pedagogical leadership and educator support

About you

• Approved teaching qualification and demonstrated experience in an educational leadership role within OSHC, teaching or early childhood education
• Strong working knowledge of My Time, Our Place (MTOP) and the National Quality Standard, particularly QA1
• Demonstrated experience leading programming, critical reflection and pedagogical practice
• Experience directly managing and developing Educators, including regular coaching and performance conversations
• Experience supporting children with additional needs, including behaviour support strategies and Inclusion Support Funding processes
• Excellent communication skills for family engagement, school liaison, and staff training
• Experience with OWNA or the ability to quickly learn programming and communication systems
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively both on the floor with children and in an office/leadership capacity
