Job summary

Bytewize IT Consulting seeks Specialist Technician candidates to provide ongoing Technical Support to Schools under the TSSP program in Melbourne. These seasoned professionals will support enterprise Windows, Linux, virtualization, cloud services, BYOD, and 1:1 deployments in a school environment.

Requirements include a minimum of 1 year in IT, strong documentation skills, and proven experience in education or equivalent large-scale deployments. Full-time opportunities with negotiable terms.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows and Apple devices at an enterprise scale.
• Experience administering Hyper‑V virtualised servers.
• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers.
• Cloud services administration (Google and Microsoft).
• MDM administration and deployment.
• Advanced enterprise network administration (Cisco/HP).
• Wireless network technologies administration (controllers/APs).
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with 1:1 and BYOD deployment in large environments.
• Experience documenting technical processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT infrastructure in Department of Education schools.
• Administer school networks and servers; provide ICT support to staff and students.
