Job summary

Bytewize is seeking experienced Specialist Technicians for the Technical Support to Schools Program (TSSP) in Melbourne. Roles involve supporting DoE schools, managing ICT infrastructure, networks, and devices across enterprise environments.

Applicants should have 1+ years of relevant experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deliver ICT development sessions with stakeholders. Full-time positions with options negotiable include company vehicle and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year industry experience, including prior experience with the TSSP program or education sector experience
• Experience managing IT infrastructure within Department of Education schools
• Ability to plan and deploy 1:1 and BYOD devices in an enterprise scale environment

Responsibilities

• Manage and service Windows and Apple devices at enterprise scale
• Administer Hyper-V virtualized server environments
• Administer Windows and Linux servers
• Manage cloud-based services (Google and Microsoft)
• MDM deployment and administration
• Maintain enterprise network with Cisco and HP switches
• Administer Cisco wireless network technologies, controllers and access points
• Plan and run ICT professional development sessions with schools’ ICT management
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• High engagement with school stakeholders and DoE initiatives
