Job summary

Bytewize is seeking highly experienced Specialist Technicians to support the Department of Education through the Technical Support to Schools Program in Melbourne, Australia. You will manage IT infrastructure within schools, administering enterprise networks and servers, including Hyper-V and Linux-based systems, and provide ICT support to staff and students.

Essential qualifications include a minimum of 1 year of industry experience and prior exposure to the education sector or large enterprise

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of industry experience
• Experience in the TSSP program or education sector preferred
• Ability to manage Windows and Apple devices in enterprise scale
• Administrative and support experience for Hyper-V environments
• Knowledge of Cisco/HPE switches and wireless tech
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Experience withSOE and image deployment

Responsibilities

• Manage and service Windows and Apple devices at enterprise scale
• Administer Hyper-V virtualized server environments
• Administer Windows and Linux servers
• Provide high-level enterprise network administration (Cisco/HPE)
• Administer Cisco wireless technologies and access points
• Support enterprise desktops and notebooks
• Perform SOE and image deployment and troubleshooting
• Prefer experience in educational settings or large enterprise environments
• Plan and run ICT professional development sessions with schools’ ICT management
• Create and maintain technical documentation
