Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria, via the Victorian School Building Authority, is seeking a Manager for Major Projects to deliver education infrastructure programs in open collaboration with internal and external teams. Reporting to a Director, you will coordinate the full project lifecycle, prepare budgets and business cases, engage stakeholders and provide authoritative, evidence-based advice.

• Experience across the full development project lifecycle.
• Proven procurement expertise in delivery of infrastructure capital works.
• Strong leadership and ability to develop a high performing team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of execution across the project lifecycle from feasibility to close.
• Prepare project feasibility information, budgets and business cases.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams on planning, design, legal and communications.
• Establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and manage risks.
• Provide clear advice on project planning, delivery status and outcomes.
