Job summary

The Department of Education's Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) is seeking a Program Advisor to support delivery of school and kindergarten infrastructure across Victoria. You will coordinate governance, collate information, and maintain reliable program information to support informed decision-making.

You will work with delivery teams and managers to monitor actions, milestones and commitments, identify issues, and drive process improvements while assisting with procurement and project

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating program, governance or business processes across multiple teams.
• Ability to collate and summarise information for reports and briefs.
• Strong judgement and initiative with the ability to manage agreed workflows independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with managers, project teams and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and related productivity tools.
• Tertiary qualification in business/ administration/ project management/ construction/ public policy or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance, reporting and business processes for school and kindergarten infrastructure projects.
• Collate, check and summarise information to prepare clear reports and briefs.
• Maintain program registers and trackers to support portfolio visibility and governance.
• Monitor actions, milestones and deliverables and escalate issues as needed.
• Support procurement, tendering and other program processes with documentation and follow-up.
• Provide administrative and operational support to the Project Delivery Office.
