Qualifications

• Hold or are working towards Certificate III in School Based Education Support or a NESA recognised Teaching degree.
• Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver effective learning outcomes.
• Experience working with children with a range of needs.
• Positive attitude and collaborative nature.
• Experience in Primary or Secondary schools.
• Willingness to experience a variety of schools.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across classrooms and assist teachers to deliver lessons.
• Assist students to access curriculum and manage learning activities.

We are seeking enthusiastic and proactive Learning Support Officers to join our team on a casual, part-time or full-time basis, serving our network of 33 schools in the Central West of NSW. The Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst (CEDB) is encompassed by the Blue Mountains, Warrumbungle Ranges, the Pilliga, Macquarie River, Lachlan River, Abercrombie River and the Jenolan State Forest. The Diocese covers 103,680 square kilometres and comprises of Three Traditional Nations: the Wiradjuri, Gamilaraay/Gomeroi, and Wailwan nations.
