Job summary

ETISK - ecommerce & retail recruitment is helping an Australian D2C accessories brand recruit an Ecommerce Manager. You’ll own the Shopify Plus site, optimize product discovery and checkout, and drive loyalty and lifecycle activity from Australia or New Zealand.

The role reports to the founder, collaborates with performance marketing, partnerships, CX and operations, and supports international growth with AI and automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Shopify Plus experience in a D2C ecommerce environment.
• Proven ability to improve conversion and trading performance through merchandising and checkout updates.
• Experience building and running loyalty, email, SMS and retention campaigns including managing external agencies.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and justify commercial decisions.
• Experience in founder-led or private equity-backed businesses with ownership and accountability.
• Sharp eye for site content and the customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the Shopify Plus website and digital customer experience, ensuring content and launches are trade-ready.
• Improve product discovery, journeys and checkout to drive higher conversion and value per visit.
• Execute launches, partnerships and campaigns online in collaboration with traffic, creative, CX and fulfilment teams.
• Build and manage the loyalty programme and email/SMS re-engagement activities.
• Create a robust reporting rhythm to turn data into action.
