Job summary

The Family Co. in Sydney is seeking an Early Support and Wellbeing Worker to lead the development, delivery and evaluation of early intervention and wellbeing programs for children, young people and families.

You will collaborate with schools, services and community groups to identify needs and strengthen referral pathways. The role requires tertiary qualifications in Social Work or related field, experience delivering group programs, trauma-informed practice, and strong record-keeping.

Qualifications

Degree in Social Work, Youth Work, Community Work or related field.
Experience developing and evaluating group programs or workshops.
Knowledge of trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches.
Ability to build relationships with schools, services and government bodies.
Strong organisational and data recording capabilities.
Ability to use evidence and data to improve services.
Proficiency with MS Office and client management systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, implement and evaluate early intervention, wellbeing and family support programs.
Deliver individual and group wellbeing supports to children, young people and families.
Facilitate parenting education and community learning activities.
Build collaborative relationships with schools and community organisations.
Identify community needs and contribute to program development.
Plan and deliver community education and engagement activities.
Maintain accurate client records and program documentation.
Comply with child protection obligations and reporting.
Monitor and report on program outcomes and impact.
Collect and analyse data to inform service delivery and improvements.
