Job summary

Dubbo & District Preschool invites an Early Childhood Educator to join our team in Dubbo, NSW. You will help deliver high-quality early childhood education and care, building nurturing relationships with children and partnering with families and the community.

The role requires a Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Child Protection Qualification, WWCC, First Aid, and Anaphylaxis/Asthma training, with experience leading group activities and observing children using EYLF.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care is required.
• Child Protection Qualification is required.
• Clear Working with Children Check is required.
• First Aid certificate is required.
• Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing a play-based learning environment responsive to children's interests, strengths and abilities.
• Contribute to planning, development, implementation, evaluation and reflection of programs reflecting the EYLF.
• Engage in critical reflection and evaluation of children's learning.
• Ensure children's individual needs and wellbeing are supported.
• Help develop an environment that is safe, fosters curiosity, exploration and problem solving.

We are looking for a friendly and motivated Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

In this position you will be expected to be an active member of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children, by:

Developing positive, comforting and nurturing relationships with children at the service

Developing positive and respectful relationships that support and partner with families and the community

Implementing the policies and associated procedures of the organisation at all times

Working with other staff towards continuous improvement in all areas of the service’s operations.

Early Childhood Education - minimum requirement Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Child Protection Qualification

Clear Working with Children Check

Current First Aid Certificate

Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management training

Demonstrated experience in leading children at group time

Demonstrated experience in observing and documenting children's play using EYLF

Responsibilities include:
