Job summary

Playmates Cottage Dubbo is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join our small, not-for-profit 51-place early childhood centre. You will work alongside the Centre Manager and Educational Leader to oversee daily operations and lead a team of educators.

Applicants should have a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, current WWCC and Police Check, and strong leadership and communication skills. Experience with OWNA is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
• Previous management or leadership experience in an early childhood setting
• Current WWCC
• Police Check within past 6 months
• Completed CHCPRT025 Child Protection or willingness to obtain
• Completed Child Safety Foundation and Advanced Gecko training
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Strong communication, organisation and leadership skills
• Experience with OWNA or similar childcare management software is highly desirable

About you
