Job summary

CE Group is expanding our delivery footprint in Central Queensland and we are mobilising 10 Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians for a major mine redevelopment project commencing immediately. This is a full new-plant installation including a washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms and mine services electrical infrastructure.

You’ll be part of an experienced electrical delivery team across construction, testing, commissioning and QA activities.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with industrial project experience.
• E&I experience and instrumentation exposure highly regarded.
• QA/QC experience within construction, commissioning or industrial projects.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space Training preferred.
• Coal Board Medical or MMQ Medical required (Minerals & Quarrying).
• Background in mining, minerals processing, heavy industrial, BESS, power stations or plant installation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test and commission electrical and instrumentation systems on large mine construction project.
• Calibrate, loop check and verify instrumentation equipment.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning of pumps, conveyors and process equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans and engineering documentation.
• Perform isolations, LOTO and follow all mine electrical safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers and CE Group's broader site team.
