Job summary

SCEE Electrical Pty is seeking an experienced Hazardous Area Electrician for a long-term role in the Surat Basin, QLD. The role covers maintenance across gas facilities, with day-to-day site work, EEHA inspections and involvement in minor projects.

Training provided for required certifications, with DIDO from Brisbane and 12-hour days as rostered. Base rates with penalties, overtime paid at double-time, 12-hour shifts, and a ~12 month engagement are offered.

Qualifications

• QLD Electrical Licence is required.
• EEHA Certification is required.
• CPR LVR within 1 year of issue.
• Construction White Card is required.
• Gas Test Atmosphere within 3 years.
• ISI (Industry Safety Induction) preferred.
• Cert III/IV in Electrical Instrumentation preferred.
• HV Switching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day maintenance in Surat Basin gas fields, including well pads, Power Stations and Gas Processing Facilities.
• Complete scheduled and preventative maintenance; conduct EEHA inspections.
• Work on minor projects as directed.

• Previous experience with Arrow / previous experience in the Gas industry (preferred)

• Construction White Card
• Gas Test Atmosphere (within 3 years)
• Industry Safety Induction - ISI (preferred)
• Cert III; Cert IV in Electrical Instrumentation (preferred)
• HV Switching (preferred)
