Job summary

Clough in Australia seeks Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to join Project Ceres in Karratha on a 20:8 roster. You will install and remove electrical reticulation, equipment, and conduits, follow procedures, and complete ITRs with a focus on safety and quality.

Possession of WA Electrical Licence and Instrumentation certs is essential. We value experience with hazardous areas, EWP access, heights work, and CPR/LVR.

Qualifications

  • Must hold WA Electrical Licence.
  • Certificate III or IV in Instrumentation required.
  • CPR/LVR certification required.
  • EEHA certification preferred.
  • HRWL - EWP beneficial.
  • Work Safely at Heights certification.
  • Full Working Rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

  • Install and / or remove temporary electrical / lighting reticulation circuits.
  • Install and / or remove electrical equipment.
  • Install electrical cable including pulling and tying.
  • Install electrical conduits within trenches and backfill as site specs.
  • Follow procedures and work packs while performing tasks.
  • Conduct manual installation of electrical components.
  • Complete Inspection and Test Records (ITR’s).
  • Test and tag electrical appliances and portable equipment.

Expression of Interest - Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians | Join Project Ceres in Karratha (20:8 Roster)

Be part of an iconic local project. Clough, as part of a joint venture, is delivering the Project Ceres urea plant, a landmark project for Western Australia. The plant will be the largest in Australia and one of the largest in the world, installing the most sustainable production processes. The project is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, whilst delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

Your role will include:
  • Install and / or remove temporary electrical / lighting reticulation circuits
  • Install and / or remove electrical equipment
  • Install of electrical cable including pulling and tying
  • Installation of electrical conduits within trenches - includes civil trenching works and manual backfill of trenches to site specifications
  • Execute work by following comprehensive procedures in conjunction with adhering to work instructions laid down in work packs
  • Manual installation of electrical.
  • Complete Inspection and Test Records (ITR's)
  • Complete electrical appliance and portable equipment testing and tagging
What you will bring to the team:
