Job summary

Hodgkinson Real Estate in Canberra is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a residential portfolio within a modern, client-focused office. You will coordinate with landlords, tenants and contractors and manage inspections and tenancy processes.

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months in residential property management, an ACT licence, and strong communication and time-management skills, along with proficiency in property software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in residential property management.
• Relevant Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).
• Current ACT property registration/licence.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Efficient with time management and able to manage competing tasks.
• Good computer and property management software skills.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
• Positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with landlords, tenants and contractors.
• Conduct routine, entry and exit inspections.
• Manage maintenance and repair requests.
• Handle leasing, applications and tenancy renewals.
• Manage rent arrears and general tenancy matters.
• Maintain accurate property records and documentation.
• Handle tenancy disputes and tribunal matters, including preparing relevant documentation and attending hearings when required.
• Source new business opportunities.
