Job summary

Merivale in Sydney is seeking a Reservations Coordinator to support our busy Reservations Team across iconic venues including ivy, Establishment, Mr Wong and more.

You will manage inquiries via phone and email, handle reservations for major events, and build strong relationships with venue managers and guests to ensure a premier Merivale experience. A rotating roster and 9am–9pm hours reflect the hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience in a customer service role or call centre.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task and work as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a guest-centric approach.
• Outgoing and proactive attitude with energy and passion for hospitality.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook; experience with reservations software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of phone and email inquiries and resolve customer questions.
• Manage reservations for special events (e.g., Valentine’s Day, Melbourne Cup, Mardi Gras, New Year’s Eve).
• Build relationships with venue managers and guests to exceed expectations.
• Maintain rapport with guests and improve the Merivale experience.
• Send daily reservations reports.
