• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy effectively.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn and evaluating learning growth.
• Ability to monitor and assess learning and use data to inform practice and communicate growth to families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents, colleagues and the school community.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflection to improve teaching quality.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve learning outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development and implementation across school programs.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and organizational duties as directed by the Principal.
• Engage with parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Provide support for student learning growth and wellbeing in line with school priorities.
