Job summary

Singleton Medical Centre and Skin Clinic – Singleton NSW is seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our busy practice. The role can be full time or part time, based in Singleton, NSW, and requires delivering exceptional patient care and efficient reception services.

You will manage appointments for 6 GPs and 4 nurses, handle billing and invoicing, and maintain accurate messages and communications with patients.

Qualifications

• Experience in medical reception or general practice preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and confidentiality.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability 7:45am–6:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Book patient appointments for doctors and nurses.
• Bill and receipt patient invoices.
• Record messages and ensure follow-up.
• Handle calls, emails, and document scanning.
• Assist with occupational health tasks such as Workcover and pre-employment medicals.
• Open and/or close the practice.
