Reporting to the Conference Centre Manager, NSW, you will coordinate room set-ups, catering, AV requirements and on-the-day event support, thrive in a customer-focused environment

Qualifications

  • Experience in a hospitality, functions or events coordination role.
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Confidence using and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • RSA certification and food safety knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Conference Centre functions, events and room set-ups to meet stakeholder requirements
  • Provide exceptional customer service and act as a key contact for event attendees and clients
  • Manage catering, stock levels, room presentation and event logistics
  • Support the set-up, operation and troubleshooting of audio-visual equipment
  • Maintain safe and compliant practices relating to food handling, workplace safety and responsible service of alcohol
  • Identify opportunities to improve services, processes and customer experiences

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity for a Conference Centre Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of CA ANZ's Sydney Conference Centre. In this hands-on role, you'll help deliver professional events and functions, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and welcoming experience. The role supports both internal and external users of the Conference Centre and plays an important part in maintaining CA ANZ's reputation for exceptional service.

Reporting to the Conference Centre Manager, NSW, you'll work closely with a range of stakeholders, coordinating room set-ups, catering, AV requirements and on-the-day event support. You are a proactive and customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced events or hospitality environment. You take pride in creating positive experiences, building relationships and ensuring every detail is taken care of.

  • Experience in a hospitality, functions or events coordination role
  • Strong customer service and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence using and troubleshooting audio-visual equipment
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification and food safety knowledge preferred
