Job summary

Sidekicker is seeking an experienced Assistant Conference & Events Manager in Sydney to lead hands-on planning and flawless floor execution for luxury events. You’ll work with the C&E Operations Manager to bridge sales and operations, manage room set-ups, supervise service staff, and embody our guest-first Heartist approach.

You will oversee event operations, mentor ambassadors, control labour costs, and ensure compliance with HACCP and brand standards while delivering exceptional client

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HACCP and safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end event execution, aligning function orders with room setups, dietary needs, equipment, and kitchen timing.
• Roster, train and inspire the C&E team to deliver high-quality hospitality.
• Control labor costs, prepare accurate event accounts on the day, manage equipment inventories, and support revenue initiatives.
• Uphold HACCP hygiene protocols, brand guidelines, cash handling and guest safety across all function areas
