Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and the ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students with a focus on outcomes.
• Contribute to curriculum development, policy implementation and school priorities.
• Undertake other classroom teaching and supervisory duties as required.
• Engage with parent/teacher meetings and school activities to support student wellbeing.
