Qualifications

• Knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning for and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, parents and staff.
• Willingness to reflect on practice and engage in professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals to achieve student outcomes.
• Contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating curriculum programs.
• Undertake other classroom duties as required by the School Principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Support school policies and priorities through collaboration and mentoring.
