Job summary

Rhino-Rack is seeking an Assembly Team Leader in Sydney to supervise the assembly team, monitor production targets, and drive continuous improvement. You will lead the team, identify skills gaps, and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

The role requires strong leadership, problem solving and clear communication, with experience in ERP systems (NetSuite) and a focus on efficient, safe operations on the factory floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a team leader role supervising assembly and or warehouse staff.
• Strong PC skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Monitor labour efficiencies and make recommendations for improvement.
• Identify skills gaps, train staff and assess competencies.
• Manage requests for leave and report on absenteeism.
• Monitor quality and report on any product non-conformance.
• Identify and contribute to continuous quality / improvement projects.
• Report all hazards and investigate reported incidents.
• Ensure that health and safety guidelines are always followed.
• Support Environmental and Sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor and encourage good housekeeping practices.
