Job summary

Rhino-Rack Australia Pty Limited – Eastern Creek NSW is seeking a dedicated Production Team Leader to supervise the Assembly team and drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

You will monitor labour efficiencies, identify skills gaps, train staff, manage leave, and ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines while supporting quality and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a team leader role supervising assembly and/or warehouse staff.
• Strong PC skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite).

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Assembly team to achieve production targets.
• Monitor labour efficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Identify skills gaps, train staff and assess competencies.
• Manage requests for leave and report on absenteeism.
• Monitor quality and report on product non-conformance.
• Identify and contribute to continuous quality/improvement projects.
• Report hazards and investigate incidents.
• Ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
• Support Environmental and Sustainability initiatives.
• Monitor housekeeping practices.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills and motivate the team.
• Display problem solving and decision-making abilities.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
• Plan, organise and pay attention to detail.
• Adhere to company policies and safety procedures.

Job Purpose

• Supervision of the Assembly team to achieve scheduled production targets and to identify areas of continuous improvement.
