Sundowner Hotel & Motel, part of Australian Venue Co., invites a Duty Manager to lead operations at the Caboolture venue. You will guide the team across day and night shifts, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth day-to-day operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, communication, and hands-on management of gaming, bar and bistro services, with a focus on staff development and maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role.
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (QLD).

Sundowner Hotel & Motel is looking for an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join our team in Caboolture. As a key member of the venue leadership team, you'll play an important role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting the day-to‑day operations of the venue. This is a fantastic opportunity for a hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front, thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is passionate about developing strong teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team during day and evening shifts

• Support the Venue Manager in maintaining high operational standards

About You

• Previous experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager Licence (QLD)
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving skills
• A hands‑on approach and passion for hospitality
• The ability to work a rotating roster, including nights and weekends
• Experience working in gaming, bar and food & beverage environments is highly regarded
