Job summary

Latrobe City Council is seeking Duty Manager / Customer Service Officer for Leisure Facilities across Moe/Newborough, Morwell, Churchill, Yallourn North and Moe pools. Positions are casual with strong emphasis on leadership, safety and excellent customer service.

You will supervise staff, oversee operations and support lifeguarding duties to ensure safe, welcoming facilities. Successful applicants will work with flexible arrangements and contribute to a positive community experience in

Qualifications

• Experience in safe operation of a facility, with policy adherence.
• Cash handling, accurate records and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of OH&S principles and safe work practices.
• Commitment to excellent customer service and teamwork.
• Current First Aid and pool lifeguard qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversee leisure facilities when a supervisor is not on duty.
• Ensure safety, presentation, cleanliness and smooth operation of facilities.
• Support customers with enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Monitor operations, manage hazards and assist in emergencies.
• Undertake lifeguarding duties to ensure patron safety.
• Maintain records, support cash handling and contribute to a positive team
