Job summary

Belgravia Leisure, Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre in Melbourne, is seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers for casual roles to coordinate daily operations with a strong focus on safety and service. You will lead with calm under pressure, enjoy interacting with a diverse community, and commit to customer service excellence while ensuring patrons enjoy their visit safely.

A minimum of one Lifeguard shift per week is required.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people-management experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety applications.
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate.
• National Police Check.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Pool Operations Certificate is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the facility with safety and high-quality service.
• Lead and communicate effectively with a diverse patron base.
• Commence and maintain at least one Lifeguard shift per week.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure a safe, welcoming environment.
• Support team in maintaining facility standards and compliance.
