Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers for the Pascoe Vale Outdoor Pool in Pascoe Vale, VIC. This casual role focuses on coordinating daily operations with a strong emphasis on safety and delivering high-quality service to members and visitors.

You will lead with energy, communicate effectively, and be prepared to work mornings, evenings and weekends, including at least one Lifeguard shift per week, ensuring a positive experience for every patron.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team and delivering high-quality service.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of OH&S and public safety protocols.
• Able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR.
• National Police Check.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Pool Operations Certificate desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of the facility with safety focus.
• Lead and motivate staff and ensure customer service excellence.
• Maintain safety policies and emergency readiness.
• Communicate with diverse patrons and ensure a positive experience.
• Work at least one Lifeguard shift per week.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team in a Casual position. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high-quality service delivery.

This role requires an individual who is a leader and can keep cool under pressure. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week.

Skills & Attributes:

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate is desirable

Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded!
