Job summary

Platform28 in Melbourne Docklands is seeking two experienced hospitality professionals for Duty Manager and Assistant Manager roles. You will oversee daily venue operations, lead shifts or support the management team, and ensure high service standards in a busy venue.

The roles require hospitality supervisory experience, strong leadership, excellent customer service, and the ability to handle guest concerns under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations during shifts.
• Supervise, support and develop team members.

• Maintain compliance with health, safety and liquor licensing requirements.
• Monitor stock and support inventory control.
• Maintain venue cleanliness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to keep service running smoothly.
• Assist with reservations, events and seating arrangements.
• Share operational updates and raise issues with senior management.
