This is a great opportunity for qualified lifeguards who value water safety and love working with people, to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers to join the team. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.

This role requires an individual who is a leader and can keep cool under pressure. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time. You will be managing up to 30 staff at any given time, and will be required to provide excellent leadership and guidance to the staff on shift.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others

• A good understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility

• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate

Applicants should have a minimum of 6-12 months of experience as a pool lifeguard to be considered for this position. Holding a Royal Life Saving Pool Operations certificate is not essential to apply, however must be completed within the first 6 months of employment if successful.
