Job summary

Wynnum Manly Leagues Club is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead from the floor and oversee daily hospitality and gaming operations on a four-day rotating roster.

You will coach staff, manage cash handling, ensure safety and compliance, and deliver outstanding member and guest experiences. RSA/RSG, RMLV licences and First Aid are required, with availability for nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience in a hospitality leadership role.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with cash handling and licensed venue operations.
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager licences, First Aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and support staff to deliver welcoming, consistent service.
• Manage daily operations across licensed hospitality and gaming areas.
• Respond to member and guest enquiries and resolve concerns professionally.
• Oversee cash handling, banking and reconciliations.
• Manage shift coverage, rosters and timesheets.
• Maintain safety, responsible service and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with management to improve operations and growth.

Your role

You'll lead from the floor, support your team through busy services and keep venue operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing cash handling, banking and reconciliations.
• Managing shift coverage, rosters and timesheets.

• Working with the management team to improve operations and support our growth.

What you'll bring

You're approachable, dependable and confident making decisions. You can manage a busy shift while treating people fairly and keeping service standards high.

You'll also need:

• At least two years' experience in a similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong people leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with cash reconciliation and licensed venue operations.
• Current RSA, RSG, RMLV, Approved Manager licence, First Aid and CPR qualifications.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays. Our four-day rotating roster includes regularly scheduled weekends off.
