Redpath Mining in Queensland seeks an experienced Loader Operator to safely operate underground LHD equipment at the Dugald River Project, contributing to production targets and upholding safety standards. The role requires a valid Loader Ticket, manual license, First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating in an underground mining environment.
• Current Loader Ticket; experience operating Sandvik loaders highly regarded.
• Valid Manual Driver's Licence, Current First Aid & CPR, and Working at Heights certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, upholding the Safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate underground loader equipment in accordance with site standards and procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks and production activities as directed by Supervisors, supporting site production priorities and plans.
• Apply effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Maintain work areas to a high standard, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management, and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Comply with all Redpath and client safety, operational, and site-specific procedures at all times.

The Opportunity

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our team at the Dugald River Project in Queensland.

Working as part of a high-performing underground mining team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground load-haul-dump (LHD) equipment while contributing to production targets and maintaining Redpath's strong safety culture.
