Job summary

Redpath Mining seeks an experienced Loader Operator for the Dugald River Project in Queensland. You will safely operate underground LHD equipment, support production targets, and uphold a strong safety culture within a high-performing team.

Joining a long-standing project, you will contribute to efficient loading, site housekeeping, and adherence to safety and site procedures while advancing your skills with OEM-accredited training and clear career pathways.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating in an underground mining environment.
• Current Loader Ticket, with experience operating Sandvik loaders highly regarded.
• Valid Manual Driver's Licence, Current First Aid & CPR, and Working at Heights certification.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, consistently upholding Redpath's "Safety – First, Last and Always" philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate underground loader equipment in accordance with site standards and procedures.
• Complete assigned tasks and production activities as directed by Supervisors, supporting site production priorities and plans.
• Apply effective loading techniques to maximise productivity while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Maintain work areas to a high standard, including floor conditions, windrow removal, stockpile management, and stope brow sprinkler setup.
• Comply with all Redpath and client safety, operational, and site-specific procedures at all times.

The Opportunity

Redpath Mining is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Loader Operator to join our team at the Dugald River Project in Queensland.

Working as part of a high-performing underground mining team, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of underground load-haul-dump (LHD) equipment while contributing to production targets and maintaining Redpath's strong safety culture.
