Job summary

Empire Fire Protection in Sydney is seeking an experienced Dry Fire Service Technician to join our Installation and Service Department. You will manage contract sites, perform installation and maintenance of fire equipment to AS1670 standards, and build strong client relationships.

The role requires autonomy, excellent English communication, and 4+ years in the fire industry. Join a growing team dedicated to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in the fire industry.
• Current White Card.
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of Uptick (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Manage & maintain existing contract sites and drive portfolio expansion.
• Provide installation, maintenance and repairs to fire equipment per AS1670.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships.
• Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Coordinate, compile and submit required paperwork and procedures.
• Attend call-outs as rostered.
• Keep up-to-date with fire technology and Australian Standards AS1670.
• Uphold ethical conduct and comply with HSEQ policies.

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Dry Fire Service Technician to join our team in our Installation and Service Department.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage & maintain existing contract sites & continued growth through portfolio expansion
• providetheinstallation, maintenance and repairs to various types of fire equipment as set out in AS.1670
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships
• Determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Coordinate, compile and submit required paperwork and other procedures
• Attend call-outs as per rostered requirements
• Maintain industry knowledge and monitor market developments, keep up-to-date with the latest changes and advances in fire technology and relevant Australian Standards AS.1670
• Commitment to the highest standards of business code of conduct, aligned with expectations on ethical behaviour according to company values
• Complying with company and client HSEQ policies and procedures

Skills and experience we require:

• 4+ years' experience in the fire industry
• Current White Card
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a team
