Transport for NSW invites five experienced DRIVES Tech Leads to support delivery, modernisation, and ongoing support of the DRIVES Licensing platform, a critical regulatory system. These fixed-term contracts run through to 30 June 2030.

• Enterprise software solutions delivered across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong technical design and development experience in complex application environments.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and influence software delivery outcomes.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supporting application releases, upgrades, testing, and production deployments.
• Stakeholder engagement and clear communication skills.
• Proactive approach to quality, continuous improvement, and technology innovation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining delivery quality and operational stability.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of DRIVES applications and services.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance across software delivery and operational support activities.
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust software designs and technical specifications.
• Drive software quality through design reviews, development standards, testing, and continuous improvement practices.
• Support application releases, deployments, upgrades, and development updates.
• Oversee troubleshooting, root cause analysis, defect management, and issue resolution activities.
• Work collaboratively with technical and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Mentor technical team members and contribute to capability building across the broader team.
• Identify opportunities to leverage new technologies and modern development approaches to improve platform performance and delivery outcomes.
