Job summary

Cleanaway is offering a casual Rear Lift Operator role within our container recycling initiative. You will load and unload containers, move loads to recycling facilities and provide excellent customer service across shifts in NSW.

This position is 2-3 days per week, 5 to 10 hours per day, with a 7-day roster. You will operate a rear lift, perform prestart checks and maintain a professional image while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• HR licence required with relevant experience.
• Ability to operate a rear lift and drive safely.
• Commitment to safety and team collaboration.
• Willingness to undergo pre-employment medical and drug testing.
• Maintain a clean driving record and adapt to roster.

The Opportunity:

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This is a casual role working 2-3 days per week, 5 to 10 hours per day.

As a Rear Lift Operator you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a rear lift collection vehicle


• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment


• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.


• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training


• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

About you:

• HR licence a must with experience


• 7-day roster across a variety of shifts - flexibility is a plus!


• Maintain a clean driving record


• Committed to safety and a team-oriented mindset
