Job summary

Cleanaway in Australia’s NSW region is seeking a casual Rear Lift Operator to load/unload containers, operate a rear lift vehicle, and deliver loads to recycling facilities while upholding safety and customer service standards.

You will perform prestart checks, maintain equipment, and work a 2-3 day, 10-hour-per-day roster with day or night shifts, including weekends. HR licence with experience is required, with pre-employment checks applicable.

The Opportunity:

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

This is a casual role working 2-3 days per week, 10 hours per day. Day or Night Shift with weekend work.

As a Rear Lift Operator you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a rear lift collection vehicle
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

About you:

• HR licence a must with experience
• 7-day roster across a variety of shifts - flexibility is a plus!
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Committed to safety and a team-oriented mindset
• Willing to undergo pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
