Cleanaway invites applications for a casual Rear Lift Operator role in Launceston, TAS. Join our CDS team supporting container collection and recycling.

You will drive rear lift collection vehicles, perform prestart checks, and deliver loads to recycling facilities while upholding safety and customer service standards. A HR license is required, and a 7-day roster means flexibility to work weekdays and weekends.

The Opportunity

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. We're building a brand new CDS team and want skilled, reliable and motivated drivers to join us!

These are casual positions so there is expectation to be available to work weekdays and weekends.

As a Rear Lift Operator, you will be responsible for

• Responsible for driving and operating rear lift collection vehicle
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high-quality customer service at all times
