Job summary

Cleanaway invites applicants for a casual Rear Lift Operator role in Ballarat (VIC). You will drive and operate a rear lift collection vehicle, perform daily prestart checks, and deliver loads to recycling facilities while upholding safety standards and excellent customer service.

The position operates on a 2-3 day per week roster, may include weekends, and requires flexibility during holiday periods and a clean driving record. Candidates must pass pre-employment checks and drug/alcohol testing.

The Opportunity

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. We're building a brand new CDS team and want skilled, reliable and motivated drivers to join us!

This is a casual role working 2-3 days per week, which may include weekend work.

As a Rear Lift Operator you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a rear lift collection vehicle
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

About You
