Cleanaway is hiring for a casual Rear Lift Operator in Ballarat, Victoria, to support our container recycling initiatives. The role involves operating a rear lift vehicle, loading/unloading containers, and delivering to recycling facilities while upholding superior customer service.

The position requires an HR licence with experience, a clean driving record, and a strong focus on safety. A 7-day roster with weekend availability is expected, with pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

The Opportunity:

Embrace the opportunity to join our CDS team and make a significant impact in container collection and recycling. You'll handle the crucial tasks of loading and unloading returned containers, transporting materials to recycling facilities, and ensuring exceptional customer service. We're building a brand new CDS team and want skilled, reliable and motivated drivers to join us!

This is a casual role working 2-3 days per week, which may include weekend work.

As a Rear Lift Operator you will be responsible for:

• Driving and operating a rear lift collection vehicle
• Daily prestart and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
• Maintaining a professional image of the company and delivering high quality customer service at all times

About you:

• HR licence a must with experience
• 7-day roster across a variety of shifts - flexibility is a plus!
• Must be available during holiday period
• Maintain a clean driving record and strong customer service focus
