Lindsay Australia Ltd invites applicants for a HR driver role across our expanding North Queensland network. You will operate a Heavy Rigid vehicle, complete daily pick-ups and deliveries, and uphold safety and service standards to support 39 stores from Mackay to Cairns.

Qualifications

• Current HR Licence with clean driving record.
• Experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations.
• Strong knowledge of Chain of Responsibility and fatigue management.
• Ability to safely load, unload and secure freight.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate an HR vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs.
• Deliver freight on time and without damage.
• Load, unload and secure freight.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and company procedures.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic records.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
• Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service.

What You’ll Bring:

• Current Heavy Rigid (HR) Licence
• Demonstrated experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations
• Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety and compliance
• Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements
• Ability to safely load, unload and secure freight
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Confidence using electronic proof of delivery and transport system
• A reliable, professional attitude with a strong work ethic
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
