Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking experienced Truck Drivers for our Townsville QLD depot. Join our team as a Multi System Driver responsible for operating collection vehicles (front lift or hook lift), loading/unloading waste, and delivering to recycling and disposal facilities.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted HR Licence is required and valid.
• Valid police clearance is required.
• Waste industry experience preferred, but training will be provided for the right person.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Townsville QLD depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Driver for work performing essential services throughout the region.

As a Multi System Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating a range of collection vehicle either front lift or hook lift
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, material or consignments
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• Hold an unrestricted HR Licence
• Possess a valid police clearance
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential as we’ll support the right person to learn
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently

• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
