Job summary

Join Cleanaway in Darwin as a permanent, full-time Waste Collection Driver. You will safely operate a range of trucks, load and unload waste materials, and deliver to recycling and disposal facilities while providing excellent customer service.

We offer ongoing training, a supportive team, and a strong safety culture with opportunities for career development and overtime. Applicants must pass pre-employment checks and medicals; forklift licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted HR Licence.
• Experience operating a variety of trucks or willingness to learn.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks.
• Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
• Clean driving record and commitment to safety.
• Strong customer service skills and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate waste collection vehicles.
• Load, transport and unload commercial and industrial waste.
• Deliver loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle presentation.
• Comply with fatigue management, safety and operational requirements.

About You

We're looking for a reliable and safety-focused driver who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

• Unrestricted HR Licence
