Job summary

Cleanaway Waste Management is seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Driver at our Mornington depot to perform essential waste collection services. You will operate rear lift, hook lift and front lift vehicles, loading and unloading waste and delivering loads to recycling and disposal facilities.

A strong safety mindset and customer-focused approach are essential. The role is permanent full-time with an early morning start (4am) and duties undertaken across the Mornington region.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted HR licence required.
• Clean driving record and safe driving history.
• Strong customer service ethic and professional presentation.
• Reliable team player with commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate rear lift, hook lift and front lift in safe manner.
• Load/unload waste, materials, or consignments at customer sites.
• Deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities as directed.
• Maintain vehicle presentation inside and out and ensure high customer satisfaction.

The Opportunity

Based at our Mornington depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Drivers for full time work performing essential services throughout the region.

Multi System Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Safe operations of collection vehicles: rear lift, hook lift and front lift
• Perform loading and unloading duties of commercial and industrial waste, material or consignment.
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities.
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• An unrestricted HR Licence as a minimum
• Clean Driving record
• A professional presentation and manner with strong customer service ethic
• Good team attitude, reliable and willing to learn.
• A strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to work as part of a team.
• Waste industry experience is not essential.
