Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking experienced Truck Drivers for full-time roles based in Geelong, VIC. The position involves operating a variety of collection vehicles, delivering to recycling and disposal facilities, and performing routine safety checks.

You will work early starts with a focus on safety, vehicle maintenance, and professional client interaction within a supportive team in a leading waste management company.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HR licence or higher with a clean driving record.
• Waste industry experience is advantageous but not required.
• Commitment to safety and operating as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate a range of collection vehicles (rear lift, hook lift, front lift).
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Perform daily pre-starts and safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Interact with clients and safely load/unload trucks.
• Maintain vehicle presentation inside and out.

The Opportunity

Based at our Moolap VIC depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Drivers for full time work performing essential services throughout the region.

• Operating a variety of collection vehicles including rear lift, hook lift and front lift
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

All our vehicles are fitted with In Vehicle Monitoring Systems (IVMS) to support safe driving practices.

About You

• Valid HR licence or higher and a clean driving record
• Waste industry experience is an advantage
• Reliable, flexible to work overtime and have a positive attitude
• Strong commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Available for early 4am starts
